Just yesterday I was prompted by Kate of Kate Hardy Design to play a little game of Now & Then. I was in need of an idea for a mid-week post and this felt so perfect. Going back and realising how much of a tomboy and nerd I used to be was definitely something that made me chuckle. I had such high dreams for myself too, dreams of earning millions and becoming successful. I grew into a person, however, that realised money and success is not the meaning of life, something much bigger and beyond my control is.
A lot of these "Now & Then" posts talk about how they miss their old life, I however am happy to say that I am no longer the person I used to be. I no longer look like a boy (thank goodness) and I no longer put my selfish ambitions before others.
Here's to self-improvement and becoming a better person every single day!
Thanks so much for tagging me Kate, this was a bundle of fun. I hope you all have a good laugh at how strange I used to be.
If you're interested or haven't participated before, I invite Hannah, Leah, Meg, Jes and anyone else who would like to join. Leave a link in the comments below so I can have a little read and get to know your own early awkward selves!
Definitely participating, as soon as I can. I'll reply to this message with the link as soon as I have done it. :) Thanks Sam!
