Weekend Stills

The past weekend was a blur (in a good way). It sped by so fast yet it felt as if I had done so much. From Friday night dinner partying, to Saturday exploring and camera testing, to Sunday birthday parties and togetherness.

Satisfied.

Now, however, it is Monday and I am finding myself counting down the days until Friday. Why do weeks have to be so tough? It is because they actually are tough or is it more a mental thing, a state of mind? Not sure...

What do you do to improve your weekly life? Needing some tips (and caffeine) on this gloomy Monday

For now I am off to live stream the Oscars on my computer while my boss isn't looking...shhhh

^ my miley face.
^ trying to perfect multiple exposures. Getting there.

  1. I actually love the photo of you and I am just going to assume that that's Stephen, oh please correct me if I'm wrong, haha.

What I do? To be honest, I always try and stay as positive as I can to get myself through the week, and fulfil my free time as wisely as I can (watching YouTube videos, and scrolling through blogs, duh!).

    1. It is Stephen - good spotting! I always drag him into my test shoots, much to his dismay ;)

Such a fulfilling way to spend your free time, I must agree. Staying positive is my challenge though. I need to start seeing the silver lining in things.

  5. Love your attempt at the double exposure picture! :) As for getting through the week, I try to spend about 30 minutes or so before going to bed doing something that I enjoy doing like reading or journaling or reading blogs. And on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I come home from school, I normally make something in the kitchen and that's kind of an "end to my day" ritual. :)

  7. Sounds like an extraordinary weekend! I had the pleasure of a long weekend, too, and utilized the time well. Usually to combat my bout of Monday blues, I try making an effort to talk to someone I don't usually, or treat myself to good homemade food. If not, your favourite music will get you straight into a fitting mood! x
