Floral Friday | While Walking

As the sun drew its curtains and started to say goodnight, I decided to take a stroll around the neighbourhood.

Although the warm colours of the day were turning to hazy blues, beautiful tones could still be found.

I didn't have to look far to find beauty. Turns out it is all around us if we merely notice it.

I only walked around the block and the images above are some of the beautiful florals I discovered along the way.

It was funny to realise if I didn't take that walk, when the sun was setting upon me, I would have never noticed these blooms in the way I did. No one else would either...

...but now you can. Now you can enjoy their beauty with me.

Have a wonderful weekend x

  6. So, so, so pretty! I like that you gif-ed all the photos into one. My street is all apartment buildings so we don't get to see a lot of beautiful flowers like these. :(

    2. If it is the singular orange spiky one in the left of the picture, it is a bird of paradise. :)

  15. I got a bit excited when the gif loaded and there was more than one! and then sat here watching mesmerised haha.

So beautiful Sam. We often see what is beautiful right in front of us and tut's what I love about photography.
There is this beautiful big tree across the road from us in the neighbours yard but because we are on a hill, from the second level of our house you can see the very top of it and I didn't notice how good the view was for the longest time. But when I did it made me super happy haha. :)
