Winter Roamings

New Zealand. Sick of these images yet?

Our second day of skiing was cancelled due to heavy rain and strong winds, so we decided to spend the day exploring the sweet corner of Arrowtown. We took a walk beside the riverbank as the mist hugged us by the waist. We frolicked through, throwing pebbles into the stream and climbing over branches that were in our way.

By the time we reached the end of the trail, the sun was peeping out behind the clouds and onto the mountains that lay before us. The warmth embraced us and it felt like a sweet childhood memory.

To be honest, I could have done this for the whole trip.

I wish I had.

  6. Nope. Definitely not sick of them.

I'll have to agree with Meg. I really want to go to NZ after seeing so many amazing photographs. But Sam, you must tell me what you do to edit your photographs! x

    1. I use Lightroom and I make my own presets based of VSCO film. I'm always changing my mind on what filters I like best. I just wish I could find one that made all my pictures look amazing, but alas! life aint so easy

  14. Argh... You've done it again Sam! Absolutely beautiful. This is my idea of a perfect day (as long as there is some hot chocolate, probably also some wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce involved). I've gotta do NZ properly some day... Auckland airport (twice) totally doesn't count! It seems like a truly magical place.
