Finding the good

It's been a wonderful week and not in the usual way.

I haven't advanced in my career.

I have been full of self doubt.

My anxiety came back for a little bit.

My body slowed.

My patience was tested.

I've been bored out my brain, tested beyond compare, and torn in different directions.

And on top of all that I lost my keys.

In all that though, in all the crap and all the ache, I found good.

And that is all you need to know.

  2. Those days (or months, sometimes!) can be so torturous, but I think the only thing that gets me through is knowing it's happened before and then I found the good and the happy stuff again. :) I'm happy you found it sooner than later this time.

  8. As usual these photos are gorgeous. You really know how to capture the perfect moments. This assembly of shots, for me, is the very definition of a slow Sunday morning when you have a huge list of things to do and are feeling odd and can't quite bring yourself to do them, which would normally fill me with all sorts of anxiety and stress, but you're somehow enjoying knowing you are not doing what you need to be doing, at the same time... Am I making any sense?! Anyway, amazing how you can capture something which translates to all sorts of different things to other people. Art is great. Whilst I'm sorry to read you were full of self-doubt and anxiety, I am so happy to know you found some good in amongst the bad. That's pretty admirable. xx
