An Update

It's been a week since I've blogged and I am sorry

Sorry to you and sorry to myself.

These first few weeks of 2015 have been busier than I could ever have imagined and frankly I haven't had time to brush my own hair.

So I was forced to prioritise and sadly this blog of mine came down the ranks.

Not picking up my camera for personal reasons in the last few weeks has started to take effect on my body and consequently my work. The inspiration isn't there anymore and the passion is fading.

It turns out I need this space more than I know. This space inspires me and helps me keep creative and connected. It also keeps me alongside you and all the goodness you bring.

So I'm hoping to get back into the rhythm of things soon but in the meantime I just ask that you please be patient with me

Maybe you can help though?

I'd love to know what kind of posts you like or would like to see on here? While I want to keep writing about whatever I want, I do want to make sure you're enjoying your time spent in my little home.

Let me know in the comments what you like to read/see on my blog

This space is as much mine as it is yours.

x

p.s. thank you.

  2. I think we all need a break sometimes and I usually find once I've had a break from blogging, I come back so much more inspired and ready to write. I love your blog just as it is so just keep doing what you're doing! :)

  5. Hey, sometimes a girl needs a little time from the creative realm to get her mind juices flowing again to write something that really speaks. Those who really appreciate your work will stay and wait with excited anticipation for what you have to say. Keep doing what your doing and writing what comes to mind, that's the stuff that really inspires!

  6. Take as much time as you need.

It's funny though because I was actually going to post something very similar to this whenever I found the time to (I really wanted to today, but something came up) so thank you for inspiring me even more to do a post like this which I have been meaning to.

Nevertheless, anything you post is amazing so please keep doing what you're doing. Day-to-day things, photography, what you have been up to lately and what's new in your life. You know, just keep posting as though we're out for brunch.

And no, thank you for being such an inspiration and gem to us all. :)

  7. I feel so similar at the moment. I kind of just feel like being lazy.
I get so caught up on events and I let them become road blocks, like I said I would feel like blogging again when Christmas was over, and when I wasn't working and now it's when I have my teeth out. But I guess it's important to take the time we need.

Your photography and words always keeps me inspired, so you do you and I'm on board. even writing this, saying how you feel is a completely valid thing to share.

    Lots of love x

  8. Sam, please don't ever feel the need to apologise, because life - as we all know - can, and does, get in the way, and that is something that is so often out of our control. Never begrudge yourself a break, or be sorry for taking one (if you can help it - I know it's easy to feel that way), because I'm more than sure you would never feel that way about someone you know doing the same. Take time for yourself - it's so entirely necessary for one's well-being.

As for what I like to see over here? The answer to that is you. I enjoy this space because it is so natural - a mish-mash (in a very good way!) of many'a thing, and that is what makes it so interesting. A lot of what I bear witness to online nowadays is, to put it bluntly, very same-y - but not this space, because - and this is what I take to believe, from the way that you post - it comes from the heart. I like the spontaneity, I like that it doesn't feel formulaic, and I like what you take the time to share.

    With love,

    Tori xxx
